Standard or counter rotation — which do I have?
Look at your propeller from behind the boat: if it spins clockwise in forward gear, you have Standard (Right-Hand) rotation — that’s most single-engine boats. Counter rotation is common on the port engine of twin setups. Still unsure? Text us a photo of your prop and serial number and we’ll confirm.
How does the core rebate work?
Pay the listed price today, then send your old gearcase back in the same crate with the prepaid label — once we receive and inspect it, we rebate up to $300 depending on its condition. Most cores qualify for the full amount; cracked or stripped housings reduce the refund.
How does a unit this size ship, and what does it cost?
Fully crated via UPS Ground — flat $175 anywhere in the lower 48, typically 1–4 days in transit after the 1–2 day prep. Local? Free store pickup at 930 Osage, Kansas City, KS.
What does the 1-year warranty cover?
One year, fault-free, on the rebuilt gearcase — internal components and workmanship. Proper installation, water pump maintenance and correct gear lube are required; the warranty doesn’t cover impact damage. Keep your invoice; claims are handled directly by our shop, not a third party.
Does it come painted?
It ships in gray primer, ready to run as-is. Factory spray paint is included in the crate if you want to color-match your engine before installation.

Crated freight to the lower 48 — cost and timing are included in your quote. Local pickup and shop installation are free options in Kansas City.
